St. Mary Basilica, One of the Many Awesome Buildings and Architecture in Krakow, Poland

We visited many beautiful buildings on our recent trip.

Of all the European cities we have visited recently, Krakow stands head and shoulder above all other.

We have not traveled with our grown children for a long time and we all enjoyed our visit to Krakow tremendously.

Vacationing in Krakow, we were thankful to Hanna, our friend from Poland in Canada.

She highly recommended us to visit this wonderful city and I was glad  we did.

Amazing architecture  and buildings are everywhere in the city of  Krakow

We never expected that there were so many things to see in this great city!

I just love the architecture in this beautiful city!

There are many medieval buildings as well as modern ones with interesting designs scattered throughout the city.

Krakow is a city full of cultural activities.with numerous churches and 27 museums. ( I read somewhere but forgot the source.)

One of the awesome churches we visited was St. Mary's Basilica located in the Main Square of Krakow.

Its twin towers were a spectacular sight!

.

We saw St. Mary on the first night when we visited the Main Square in Krakow and were awed by the beauty of it.

The scenery is like a scene straight out of a fairly tale storybook with the buildings in the square all lit up welcoming visitors.

St. Mary Basilica was special to me and it was on our must visit list to Krakow.

It was the church where our dear friend from Poland, Hanna's son was baptized.

Though lots of visitors come by the church to admire its beauty, there were also people taking  breaks from their schedules to be quiet and pray at a side chapel.

I sincerely hope that our mighty God will bless them and pour upon them with His mercy and love.

God, may you listen to their prayers and grant them their prayer requests. Amen.
