Exchanging Our Money at Galeria Kazimierza Shopping Plaza, Krakow

Galeria Kazimierz Shopping Plaza, Krakow – Day 3

Our decision to stay at a serviced condo unit was an excellent one.

Though it was a little further from the Old Town, our unit was close to Galeria Kazimierz Shopping Plaza -  a shopping mall with an entrance to the train station and convenient for shopping.

We went to Galeria the very next morning after we moved into the service unit.

It was a nice short walk for us.

The shopping mall is a big, modern building with three floors of stores.

We saw different shops in the mall including some famous American brands.

We were tempted by the delicious looking pastries in the mall.

However, I was trying hard to stick to my diet

Happy was I when we saw a booth selling juices extracted from fresh fruits and vegetables.

In fact, we went back a few times for the delicious healthy fresh juices.

The particular store we were looking for was the money exchange place.

We asked a couple of ladies in the shopping plaza for directions.

Though they didn't speak a lot of English, they still tried to help us to find the currency exchange store in the shopping mall.

We walked past a few money exchange places in Krakow. We noticed some charged a fee for their services while some did not.

Eventually, we found a Kantor in the shopping plaza.

I like Kantor as I have found this to be the most honest place that gives its customers reasonable exchange rates for our Canadian dollars to the Polish and other currencies.
