Review of Our Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic

We have just finished our vacation in Europe and stayed at a number of places.

Our hotel in Prague was close to many good restaurants like this one.

While choosing our hotels, we looked at various places trying to get a feel of the different types of accommodations.

We stayed at Hotel Leon Doro in Prague.

However, there was one specific criteria that was important to our decision - close to transportation and to the town/ city we were visiting.

When we were in Germany, we stayed at the B & B Hotel a couple of times which we felt was good value for our money.


As for Prague, we could have stayed at cheaper places, but we wanted to be close to the town square as much as possible.



|Hotel Leon Doro was the perfect choice for us.

We could not ask for a better location of our hotel.

Located within walking distance to the Prague Town Square, our hotel was also close to many shops, cafes, and nice restaurants.

Our hotel provided an excellent breakfast buffet each morning.

We stayed our entire vacation at the Doro Hotel.

We started our day with a nutritious breakfast buffet fit for a king at the hotel's dining room.

We enjoyed an elegant dinner at a neighborhood restaurant.

As for lunch and dinner, it was easy.






Just a few steps away from where we were staying, we were able to choose from a wide variety of street food stalls to some nice elegant places to eat.

One evening, it was starting to rain. We were able to walk to a neighbourhood restaurant and had this delicious dinner just a short walk from our hotel.

This beautiful shop is right across from out hotel.

We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit every day while vacationing in Prague.

This saved us a lot of time and provided us opportunities for good exercises.

An abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables at great prices

Besides the many local restaurants and fancy shops, we discovered a local market that opened daily right by our hotel.

There were a number of stalls within this market selling fresh local fruits and vegetables, crafts and souvenirs at great prices.














Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
It even had a kitchenette with some dishes, cutlery and a fridge where we could store some fresh fruits, our take out dinner for J. who went to sleep every night by 7pm.  It was convenient for us.

The front desk gentleman was friendly and helpful greeting us warmly each time when he saw us.
It was a very pleasant experience for us indeed.

We enjoyed this hotel tremendously and would surely stay there again should we come back to visit Prague.
