Yamasen Japanese Restaurant, Kampala, Uganda |
This was my first time visiting the African continent and I have had many pleasant experiences and discovered many surprises.
One of these surprises for me was enjoying a variety of food from a diverse cultures.
We had most of our meals either at the hotel where we were staying or had catered food delivered to us to the school by a local restaurant.

Located inside a beautiful wooden structure with a lot of open space, Yamasen, a Japanese restaurant in Kampala, Uganda, provids a beautiful yet peaceful and quiet setting to its patrons.
It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets for a couple of hours enjoying dishes that were completely unexpected in the continent of Africa.
