A Delightful Luncheon at the Jinja Sailing Club, Uganda

Jinja Sailing Club, Uganda
It seems that we are spending a lot of time riding in our van. It doesn’t matter where our destination is, it takes a long time to get there as the roads are either very bumpy and rocky or the traffic is heavily congested. This afternoon we rode on a smooth highway for a change.

Rose was excited as she pointed to us that some part of this highway is still under construction and that the Chinese companies are involved in building infrastructures in Uganda.
I also went to a local dentist to have some repair work done. It didn’t take long and I  was happy.

After our visit to the St. James Clinic, Valerie introduced us to the Uganda Sailing club and we decided to go there for lunch.

It was a beautiful place right by Lake Victoria!

Jinja Sailing Club is situated on a gorgeous location by Lake Victoria

With the breezes blowing on our faces, enjoying  a beautiful scenery overlooking Lake Victoria together with delicious food and good company, we could have stayed here for hours.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Jinja Sailing Club

We savored every moment here as we didn’t want to leave at all!

We went to visit Eric’s experimental farm. Unfortunately, I ran out of battery and couldn’t take any pictures.
