Port Credit at dusk, Ontario |
It was a grueling week for the participants and me in the one week intensive course we were taking in Mississauga.
We started our day from 7:30am and attended lectures until 9:00pm
On Wednesday, we were half way over and there was no class after dinner.
We were able to enjoy a free evening and let our hair down a little.
Someone suggested that we should visit Port Credit close by to where we were.
We were glad we went as Port Credit was a pretty place to watch the swans.
With Juliet on the wheel, Marva, Renee, Marianne, and I all got into her car and off we went to explore Port Credit.
The swans were out in the lake hunting for their dinner.
We did not see just a couple of graceful swans.
Swans out for their evening feeding in the water of Port Credit, Mississauga, Ontario |
We saw more than a couple of dozens of white swans swimming around and looking for their evening meal.
The weather was fine and we enjoyed the scenery at the harbour.
Though I have been living in southern Ontario for forty years, this was the my time visiting Port Credit.
What better way to celebrate new found friends with some nice coffee and fine desserts at one of the local cafes?
Though it took us a little while to find a nice place, we persisted in our search.
We are one in God's family! |
With the same goals and desires to want to learn more about God's guidance in our lives, we had a lot to talk about.
It's true that we are one in God's family!
