Sunday, Day 11
We often try to locate a church in the neighborhood and attend a Sunday Service if possible when we go on vacation.
Last night, we were delighted to locate a Pentecostal church in Victoria. Therefore, today, we got up in time for breakfast and went to church for the morning service while R. stayed in the hotel.
The church was not too far away from our hotel.
We attended the English service and enjoyed the singing a lot.
The congregants were warm and welcoming. This pastor is a very dynamic minister looking after all the services in different languages at the Victoria's Chinese Pentecostal church.
We met with the senior pastor after the service and had some good sharing with him about each others' youth ministries.
After the service, we went back to the hotel picking up my sister and drove towards the Victoria ferry dock thinking that we might have time to visit at least one attraction on our way there.
However, the drive took longer than we thought; we did not have time for any side trip at all.
While waiting for our ferry at the terminal, we had a few minutes visiting the stalls and shopped a bit.
I bought a pair of sunglasses and Ro bought a beautiful pill box white hat.
We even had time to enjoy some ice-cream before boarding the B.C. ferry.
The ferry ride from Victoria back to Vancouver seemed to fly by in no time at all.
We chatted and enjoyed some refreshments and the tranquil seascape on board the B.C. ferry.
I hardly did anything save for taking a few pictures and we were there!
