Quality Family Time at Georgian Manor, Collingwood

Christmas / New Year Holiday

A one bedroom unit at the Georgian Manor is a good place for time away from the city

Family holiday time is an important part of our lives.

We always make it a priority to take some time off each year and go somewhere for a holiday to recharge ourselves.

Enjoying some quiet  reading time in front of the fireplace in our unit

One of the places we have been staying frequently for our skiing trips is the Georgian Manor Resort in Collingwood.

The 1 bedroom living dining room unit sleeps 4-5 people comfortably

We like the place so much that we are here for a week every other year.

The TV watching area in our unit,  sleeps 2 people

Very often, we invite other couples or relatives to join us as we have a reasonable size suite which is great for entertaining.

Enjoying a board game at the Club House

Today was another cold day with the temperature hovering at minus 17 degrees C.

Or some could just read in the library corner.

We could not go skiing in this cold weather, some of us preferred to stay inside the resort.

How about a game of chess?

Some chose to spend the whole day enjoying the facilities being offered here.

A craft activity for the kids

We joined the craft classes, made Sharpie mugs, played family Bingo at the Club House and some of us also went swimming.

After dinner, Jonathan spent an evening playing Monopoly ( the latest version! ) with his two young cousins while we watched a documentary on penguins in the TV area.

With the fire burning in the fireplace, kids laughing heartily and having fun, the place was filled with warmth, peace and the love of family members.

I felt so blessed to have a place where our family can spend some quality time together regularly.

Thank you, God for your blessings and we are grateful of what we have!
