So Much to Do at Sea on the Virgin Cruise Ship - Our Second Day

E. has his own room on the Virgin cruise, being not too far from our room on the 8th floor. So far we are enjoying our cruise and loving all the activities.
However, we are disappointed with our room as our view to the ocean is completely blocked by the lifeboat hanging outside our window. Not happy at all as we didn't pay a discount price or anything to go on this cruise, very unhappy and will complain about it. We wish we could be spending more time with E. But seeing that he has his own group of sole travellers to hang out with, this makes us happy too. COVID has had a tremendous impact on the social life of the young people for the past three years. For those people working from home, the situation has been even worse for them as they are more isolated socially than ever. We encouraged our son go on this cruise with us, hopefully, there would be more opporunities for him to socialize and make some new friends. We start to see God's hand at work and trust Him to do the best for our grown children.
We only managed to have a quick breakfast with E as he left for a haircut, a run and to hang out with his new friends. May God bless him on this trip. We hanged around on deck 15, eating and checking our emails etc. Then we went to sailor services for some help on our Virgin app and put together our bookings for the next few dinners.I always find that There usually are lots to do on the cruisel We went to DECK 7 to the Dock Lounge for some Latin music and some delicious snacks. I started writing my blogging notes while being serenaded by some lively Latin music! Wonderful indeed! Evening Activities - 7pm go for a show at the Redroom - We watched a boy band called Boy Band Evolution. The band sang some nice songs from the past decades as well as some pop Christmas music. We texted E. for him to come to join us. He did only for the last few minutes.
We booked for dinner at 830 pm at the Razzle Dazzle. Remembering how dressy crusiers were from our past cruise experiences, I dressed up for dinner with my fancy shiny blue top but was surprised to find other diners causally dressed. I guess Virign targets a younger crowd who tends to be less formal. Accidnetally, all three of us ordered the steamed fish with a mild soup base. I was glad I could eat healthy and oder some non fried food on this cruise. Two thumbs up for Virgin and their chefs! After dinner, we said good bye to E. allowing him some free time with his new friends made on this cruise. We watched a documentary called Little Richard, the singer who started the rock and roll music but received little financial or public recogntion for his tremendous contribution to the music he created. We both slept well on our second night on the Virgin cruise. RT, Day 2, Virgin Cruise 23122023
